Developing practical business skills, a solid business plan, and a supportive network of peers, colleagues, and potential business partners has been shown to greatly increase the chances of building a practical, sustainable business in the screen industry.
Join Compton School’s David Court in this proven workshop program, designed for people starting, planning, or rethinking their screen business. This 4-month program will help participants gain practical skills in project selection, business strategy, financial analysis, business planning, creative pitching, and creative leadership.
8 early to mid-career Western Australia Screen Professionals will have the opportunity to come together to think deeply about their business, connect with their peers and work towards a sustainable career.

Strength In Numbers will be delivered over four months through a combination of intensive in-person workshops and online workshops as follows:
10-11 October: Introductory two-day workshop, Perth
7 November: Two-hour workshop, online
28 November: Two-hour workshop, online

January 2026: Individual one-on-one tutorials
6-7 February 2026: Concluding two-day workshop, Perth
