Stepping UP: Navigating your creative career

Thanks for registering for the Stepping Up Rainmakers Workshop! Find more information about our attendees, location, schedule below.

There is no straight path to the top. Creative careers follow a zigzag route that can’t be planned in advance. Opportunities come and go without a schedule. The industry’s fortunes wax and wane, beyond our control. New technologies arrive out of the blue to disrupt traditional practice. And for many, with time out for family and second jobs, it can be hard to maintain momentum. Finding your way is an art.

In this one-day workshop, four senior creative practitioners will reflect on the paths they took, and the ones they didn’t. How they navigated their career, the choices they made, the people who supported them, the things they learned, and what they wish they knew earlier.

Compton founder David Court will interview each practitioner before opening the discussion to the floor. Be part of the conversation! And connect with your peers in the audience.
